GE Healthcare and GMS Taiwan sign exclusive license agreement for Flutemetamol F-18 Injection (Vizamyl™) in Taiwan

GE Healthcare and Global Medical Solutions Taiwan have signed an exclusive license agreement to manufacture and commercialize Flutemetamol F-18 Injection in Taiwan (marketed as Vizamyl™ in North America and Europe).  Flutemetamol F-18 Injection is a leading radioactive diagnostic agent indicated for Positron Emission Tomography (PET) imaging of the brain to estimate beta amyloid neuritic plaque density in adult patients with cognitive impairment who are being evaluated for Alzheimer’s disease (AD) or other causes of cognitive decline.
